- General
- Original ideas and arrangements used in rehearsals and performances by Voice to Voice are owned by Voice to Voice and members will agree not to use, amend or copy any original idea or arrangement for other events or purposes.
- Membership of Voice to Voice may be terminated at any time for members who do not follow these Terms and Conditions, with forfeiture of any unused fees.
- Voice to Voice rehearsals usually take place weekly. Members may attend rehearsals at any or multiple venues in any one week for the cost of one weekly rehearsal.
- In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, membership fees for that week will be carried forward to the next week when that day’s rehearsal takes place.
- Due to the nature of rehearsals and performances, it is assumed that members are able to cope with the vocal and physical demands of participation. If a member has reservations about being able to participate, they should discuss the possibility of alternative arrangements with the Director.
- Photographs, videos and sound recordings may be acquired of members. The recorded materials may be used for advertising and marketing for Voice to Voice.
- Copyright of any official recordings including, but not limited to, videos, audio tracks and CDs, remains with Voice to Voice. Members may not copy official recordings including, but not limited to, videos, audio tracks or CDs for distribution to third parties. Copying for personal use on personal devices only is allowed.
- The minimum age for membership in Voice to Voice is 16 years of age.
- Membership Fees
- Fees are payable in advance for a four week block.
- Current fees are displayed on the Voice to Voice website or may be obtained from the Director or other Officials of Voice to Voice
- Members may start a four week block at any time, however, if a member does not attend any week in the four week block, the fee is non-refundable and non- transferable.
- Books of 4 Vouchers may be purchased to pay for rehearsals if a four week block is not practical at any one time, and where more flexibility is required by members.
- Vouchers are non-transferable and non-refundable. They are valid for six calendar months from the date of purchase. Lost vouchers may be counted up to six months from purchase.
- Code of Conduct
- Members must follow the directions of the Director and other acting on behalf of the Director at all times.
- Voice to Voice is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our members by encouraging a safe environment. Membership may be terminated for any members found to be abusing this.
- Voice to Voice will not be held responsible for any damage due to misconduct by members.
- Members will not participate in behaviour, in person or on social media, that brings into dispute the reputation of Voice to Voice, its Director or Officials, either when representing Voice to Voice and its Director, at rehearsals or in performances, or when wearing the Voice to Voice name or logo, such that they can be identified as a member of Voice to Voice.
- 1 Rehearsals and Performances
- Members will be responsible for downloading lyrics and audio tracks for teaching purposes from the online Voice to Voice site, and for bringing the lyrics to each rehearsal.
- Members will endeavour to be prepared for performances, including but not limited to, learning parts and being off score unless directed otherwise by the Director.
- Members will agree to wear the designated dress code for each performance as directed by the Director or they will not be permitted to participate in the performance.
- Health and Safety
- Voice to Voice will not be responsible for any damages to a member or their personal belongings before, during and after rehearsals and performances.
- Members are responsible for their own property and well-being before, during and after rehearsals and performances.
- Members must make their own travel arrangements to participate in rehearsals and performances.
- Voice to Voice holds public liability insurance in the event of claims made against members by the public.
- 1 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
- Voice to Voice recognises that your personal details matter to you and will only hold your name and email address for the purposes of communication with you on Voice to Voice matters.
- Personal bank details will not be held for any members. Records of payment will be kept for each year from April to April only.
- Personal and private information held by Voice to Voice will not be passed to any external organisations unless this is agreed to by each member, when necessary for participation in externally organised events.
- Members personal details and email addresses will be removed from Voice to Voice records upon termination of contract, by either a member or Voice to Voice.
Voice to Voice reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at anytime without notice.
